Had a great walk this afternoon that ended in the Rock Point sugarbush. The sap is flowing beautifully! On Friday, Rock Point students collected about 350 gallons of sap! Looking forward to sharing and celebrating this time of year with the Burlington Phenology Guild on Saturday!

Map Your Observations!

Step 1: Click on the Burlington Area Map link in the lower left below the map. This will take you to a Google map that you can edit.
Step 2: In order to edit the map, you must first sign in using your Google name and password in the upper right.
Step 3: Click on the red Edit box. Click and drag a placemark to the location of your observation. Add a title and a description of your observation (include your name and date).
Step 4: Save the changes you have made to the map!
Step 5: Refresh the blog to see the updated map.

Optional Step: If you would like to embed a photo in your placemark, click on Rich Text in the placemark dialog box, and then click on the image icon. This will prompt you to enter the url for an image that has been uploaded to the web. We recommend uploading photos to BPG photo album on Yogile (see link below). Right click on your uploaded photo to get its url address and paste it into the map dialog box. Click OK and save.
